It is now recognised how important the Pre-School years are to a child’s later development. It is our aim to prepare children for their formal school life and to introduce them to the joys of mixing with other children of the same age.
We encourage this learning to progress through play and
socialising using seven development areas.
These are: Personal, social, and emotional development * Physical development * Communication and Language * Literacy * Mathematics * Understanding the world * Expressive arts and design.
The children are encouraged to develop their own personality through individual and group activities and to acquire the knowledge and skills, which will be of value to them in the next stage of their education. We understand that not all children develop at the same rate and because of our training we are able to cater for your child’s needs. At the age of 3 years old we offer a Dance teacher who comes in once a week, free of charge.
We work closely with parents with regard to the progress of their child. To aid this we provide Home Observation Folders, so that we can 'mirror' the child's learning and development from home into the nursery environment.
